Founded in 2018, the Sonoma County Secure Families Collaborative is committed to creating a just and more capable society that gives immigrants the opportunity to live life with dignity and respect.

We stand for equity, belonging, and justice

The  Secure Families Collaborative serves as the backbone organization to a network of pro bono immigration legal services providers.

Using a collective impact approach and an innovative, streamlined service delivery model, we join forces with dedicated nonprofit partners to deliver top-tier immigration legal support and connections to culturally sensitive social services.

​Our legal services providers are the heart of our organization. We are committed to building capacity within these organizations and helping newer organizations so they can offer free, quality legal services to immigrants in Sonoma County.

Partnerships for holistic approach

​We are the only collaborative in Sonoma County that emphasizes quality legal care combined with integrated "wrap-around" social services, employing a holistic approach to immigrant and family wellness.

Although we have a set of formal partners located in central population areas, we have also established informal partnerships to further expand our services into hard-to-reach communities.

Since 2018, we have served over 2100 individuals. We anticipate a rising need for immigration legal services and social services due to the lack of any meaningful immigration reform and the political climate.
